Access Point

A router that allows the wireless sharing of an internet connection over a small area.

ADSL

Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line. Type of DSL internet connection where upload and download speeds limits are not the same.

Adware

Adware is a term covering a large range of software that displays additional advertisements in your browser.

Anonymous Proxy

A proxy server that identifies itself as a proxy but does not make the client IP address known.

The American Registry for Internet Numbers is a Regional Internet Registry responsible for IP address allocation and management in Canada, the United States, and many Caribbean and North Atlantic islands.
