Bumble Search: How to Find Someone on Bumble

It's possible to find someone on Bumble! Try these strategies.

One of the most popular dating apps that people like to use is Bumble. This is because it is one of the easiest apps to use and allows women to message first. However, this app is also a place that people sneak on to cheat on their significant other, or to hide that they are online dating from their parents. Are you curious if someone you know is on Bumble? Here are a few ways to find someone on Bumble.

How to Find Someone on Bumble

Be Careful on What Profile Picture You Use

A picture is worth a thousand words, especially if you are trying to find someone on Bumble. If you don’t want your partner or child to know that you are trying to find them on Bumble, don’t use any photos of yourself. Make sure to take a discreet photo so that it’s hard to tell who owns that Bumble profile.

If you use your own photo when trying to find a child or significant other, there is a good chance you might be blocked by the person you are trying to find. By using a discreet photo, they won’t be able to tell that it’s you as they are swiping through matches. That makes it easier for you to match with them.

Make Sure That Your Location Settings Are Accurate

If you can’t find who you are looking for, make sure your location settings match where the person lives. To be on the safe side, you can even increase the distance to make sure that their location is covered. For example, if you know they live 10 miles away, increase your location to 15 miles to guarantee their location is covered.

You can also search on Bumble near where the person lives, as long as you are not stalking them. For example, maybe go to a store that happens to be near their house, but we don’t recommend going to their house. That way, you can guarantee that you are near the person when searching on Bumble.

Make Sure to Turn Your Profile Off Once You Are Done Searching

You can turn your profile off once you are done searching for the person you are looking for. This will give you peace of mind that the person you are looking for can’t find your profile once you log off the app for the night.

To turn off your profile, go to your “settings” section on your Bumble profile. Then, go to the option where you can turn your profile “off” and “on” to hide your profile. This will allow you to also turn your profile back on when you are ready to search again.

Observe Each Profile You Come Across

If someone is trying to hide, they might use fake names and fake photos in their dating profile. To find someone on Bumble, look at their information to see if they have similar interests as the person you are looking for. If they attended the same school, work in the same place, or have the same favorite movie, then chances are it could be the person you are looking for.

Once you suspect that someone might be that person you are looking for, message them on the app. Then, get them to answer questions only they might know the answers to. However, don’t be obvious that it’s you asking these questions though. Then once you have a good idea, screenshot the evidence and confront the person you are looking for.
