Snapchat is the app many teenagers and young adults rely on to communicate with friends. With their popular filters, many people flock to this app to share silly messages and post on their stories. This app is also filled with many scammers, premium girls, and cheaters who don’t want to be found on this app. That is why it is important to know how to find someone on Snapchat.
How to Find Someone on Snapchat
Use the Search Bar
On Snapchat, they have a search bar that you can use to find people on their app. All you need to do is type in the name or username of the person you are trying to find into Snapchat’s search bar and click Enter.
After you search the person up, there will be many results that pop up. Click “Add” by the person you are looking for to add them on Snapchat. You can search the person you are looking for on Snapchat by name, username, or phone number.
Use Your Contact List
Snapchat is able to sync to your contacts so that way you can add your friends directly from your contacts! To do this, open your Snapchat app and go to your profile. Then, go to “Add Friends,” then wait for the option to add your contacts into this list.
Once you have added your contact list, you should have the option to see who is on Snapchat from your contacts. Click this section to view everyone from your contacts list that has a Snapchat. This will allow you to see if someone has a Snapchat if you have their phone number.
Use Quick Add
Even if you don’t have the person on your contacts list, maybe your friend has them added on Snapchat! If you go to “Add Friends” you will see the Quick Add section, and chances are you will find who you are looking for there.
Quick Add is a section on Snapchat that displays users that your mutual friends have added, those you have subscribe to, or those who are already in your contacts list. If your friend already has them added, chances are you don’t have to dig very much to find the person’s Snapchat profile.
See if They’re Mentioned on a Friend’s Story
With Snapchat’s mention feature, you can tag friends in your story to notify them that you posted about them. When you do this, all of your Snapchat friends will know the username of the person you are mentioning in your story.
If your friend mentions the person you are looking for in their story, then you can add them this way. All you need to do is click the username being mentioned in the story, and click add.
Perform a Reverse Search Using Social Catfish
If none of these options worked for you, you can always rely on Social Catfish to help you find who you are looking for! All you need is their name, email address, phone number, social media username, or image to get started.
Once you have this information, go onto Social Catfish’s website. Then, go to their search bar to type in the information you have. Once you have done that, it will ask you to sign up for one of Social Catfish’s membership options before proceeding. After this, you only need to wait a few minutes to view your results! Then you will be able to see if the person you are looking for has a Snapchat profile.
