Identity Theft Resource Center: Support, Education, and More

Identity Theft Resource Center

The Identity Theft Resource Center (ITRC) provides victims of identity theft due to scams and fraud with what they need most, when they need it most—Protection, information, solutions, and support. They are a wealth of help and education at a time when consumers need more help than ever.

There are plenty of resources available to consumers to report crimes, scams, and fraud. However, not all organizations have a team or resources in place to help victims fight back and reclaim their identity. That’s where ITRC is different.

If you’ve been a victim of identity theft and need help from people who care and can come alongside you, you should reach out ASAP. Contact the ITRC.

Identity Theft Resource Center
  • They are available via phone or via a live FaceTime chat at 888.400.5530.
  • On their website, idtheftcenter.org, you can live chat with a representative from 6 a.m.- 5 p.m. PT.
  • You can also contact them via email.

As a nonprofit, the IRTC’s mission is to support victims of identity theft stemming from fraud and scams. More than that, they provide ID theft protection education at no cost to individuals and small businesses. As a 501(c)(3) accredited charity, they receive financial support through grants and donations. That ensures their victim support and advice are founded on what’s in the best interests of their clients and victims.

What you’ll find at idtheftcenter.org.
