How to Run a Dating Profile Search with Social Catfish

Run a dating profile search to find out if someone is on dating sites.

We know you have your own reasons for wanting to know whether or not someone in your life has a dating profile. You may be a significant other, a spouse, or the like, and you suspect that your partner is not being loyal and faithful to you. You may be a concerned parent to a minor and would like to know if your child is on these websites to warn them of the dangers. Or you may even have fallen victim to a scam or extortion for money and would just like to find your scammer. Whatever your reasons may be, running a dating profile search is both possible and fairly simple. Here are a few ways you can successfully run a dating profile search.

Dating site developers make it difficult for users themselves to run a manual search using their platforms. That’s because they want to keep the confidentiality of their users. Most users are quite privy about their information and don’t usually blatantly divulge that they’re on these sites as there is still quite a stigma when it comes to online dating.

Privacy is also a factor, as people on these sites don’t want strangers to know their full name, where they live, or their workplace.

Despite all of this, there are still ways that you can run a dating profile search:

People are quite fond and protective of their username as they may have spent a lot of time thinking of it and curating it to fit their online persona. They will most likely use the same username that they’re using for other platforms on their online dating apps, too.

To reverse search someone’s username, go onto Social Catfish’s website. Then, input the username into the search bar on their home page. Sign up for a Social Catfish membership and wait a few minutes for your results. Once the results show up, you should be able to see whether or not someone has a dating profile.

Just like with usernames, people also love great photos of themselves and often end up reusing them. Check their social media profiles for their photos and use those photos to search for them in dating apps.

To reverse search someone’s image, go onto Social Catfish’s website. Then, upload the image into the search bar on their home page. Sign up for a Social Catfish membership and wait a few minutes for your results. Once the results show up, you should be able to see whether or not someone has a dating profile.

Dating apps require you to confirm your profile using your phone number. If you want to find out if someone has a dating profile, you can opt to use the “forgot password” feature and enter their phone number. If a notice comes up that the app will send you a password reset link via email, you now know for sure that their profile is up and running on that dating site.

To reverse search someone’s phone number, go onto Social Catfish’s website. Then, input the number into the search bar on their home page. Sign up for a Social Catfish membership and wait a few minutes for your results. Once the results show up, you should be able to see whether or not someone has a dating profile.

You can also do the same as the aforementioned step, but this time using their email address if you have that information. Simply type in the person’s email address and use the “forgot password” feature again.

To run a dating profile search with an email address, go onto Social Catfish’s website. Then, input the email address into the search bar on their home page. Sign up for a Social Catfish membership and wait a few minutes for your results. Once the results show up, you should be able to see whether or not someone has a dating profile.

Create Your Own Profile

If all else fails, you can create your own (fake) profile. After all, if you can’t beat them, join them, right? Just make sure not to use your real photos, location, or name, as the person you’re looking for might find you first and block you. And be extra careful with this step — if your partner is not cheating and not on the site, and he/she discovers that you are for some reason using a dating site, this will just cause unnecessary tension and conversations that you’re both better off without.

We know you just want to protect yourself and your best interests, and that’s why you’re reading this article. There’s nothing wrong with trusting your intuition, but also remember to remain open-minded and not quickly jump to conclusions. Healthy and honest communication is still the best way to go about this issue, and instead of beating around the bush, you can always ask upfront. You’d be surprised to see that people are more honest than you think.
