Spamhawk is a SpamAssassin based DNSBL that boasts a block list of over 2371 sites. SpamHawk allows website administrators to build and maintain there own block lists while also providing users and the general public with a list of the top ten sites from which they received the most spam. They also provide a block count for those sites that tallies the number of times the listed address has attempted to send spam to any of the sites using the service and an address count that lists the number of addresses affected by one of the offending sites on the day they were published to the blacklist.

Mail server administrators should never implement blacklists unless they are 100% sure of what they are doing. Misconfiguration can result in all incoming mail being blocked.
